Our Favourite Movies For Valentine’s Day

Romantic Movies

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and here in the One4all HQ we’ve been busy planning all the romantic comedies and dramas we’re going to be watching.

Get cosy, grab the goodies, and delve into one of these love stories this Valentine’s Day.

The Notebook

Make sure you have plenty of tissues handy if you’re watching this romantic drama based on the 1996 novel by Nicholas Sparks. The story follows the forbidden love between young couple Noah, a poor quarry worker, and Allie, an heiress.

Dirty Dancing

You’ll have the ‘time of your life’ watching this romantic dance drama. The story follows 17-year-old Frances ‘Baby’ Houseman who falls in love with dance instructor Johnny Castle during her family vacation at a Catskills resort.

500 Days of Summer

This romantic comedy starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel is an honest and funny depiction of love and heartbreak. It follows the story of greeting-card writer and hopeless romantic Tom as he reflects on the 500 days he spent with his ex-girlfriend Summer.

The Wedding Singer

Adam Sandler rocks the greatest mullet of the ‘80s in this romantic story. After wedding singer Robbie Hart is left at the altar by long-time girlfriend Linda, he befriends engaged waitress Julia Sullivan and helps her plan her wedding to her wealthy businessman fiancé Glenn Gulia. However, the pair’s wonderful friendship soon blossoms into something much more.

Pretty Woman

One of the biggest hits of the 90s and soaring Julia Roberts to stardom, in this Cinderella-like romantic comedy prostitute Vivian Ward is hired by wealthy businessman Edward Lewis as an escort for some social events. After spending a weekend together, the pair’s relationship becomes more than just the business agreement.
