Best Moments From I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here

I'm A Celebrity

I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here returns to our screens on November 18th with a host of new famous faces braving Bushtucker Trials, bad weather, and the worst diet of their lives.

But will any of the new additions to the jungle camp – which includes football manager Harry Redknapp and Deal or No Deal host Noel Edmonds – create iconic moments like the ones by previous celebrity campmates?

Here, the One4all team give you 11 of the best moments to ever feature on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!

1. Eastenders star Dean Gaffney’s Reaction During His Bushtucker Trial

This Dean Gaffney I’m A Celeb moment is one for the celebrity jungle hall of fame. The actor is unable to control his fear and utter disgust in the ‘jungle spa’ as he searches for stars while cockroaches and other creepy crawlies are poured over his head.

2. Gillian McKeith Faints

TV nutritionist Gillian McKeith beat Dean Gaffney for the award for most dramatic moment when she fainted after being told she had been voted to take part in a Bushtucker Trial. Of course, some viewers accused Gillian of faking it. What a ‘surprise’!

3. Peter Andre’s Pop Hits

Nobody will ever forget the season when pop singer Peter Andre and former glamour model Katie Price found love in the jungle. Possibly even better than watching their on-screen romance blossom were the pop hits singer Pete was producing and performing for his fellow campmates that included Sex Pistols Johnny Rotten. His song Insania (a mixture of the word insane and mania) reached number three in the UK Charts.

4. Ashley Roberts Teaching Dance Moves

Former Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts entered the jungle in 2012 and found herself teaching the dance moves of the girl group’s hit single ‘Don’t Cha’ to some very unexpected students.

5. Helen Flanagan Gives Up

Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan didn’t have an easy stint in the jungle. As viewers, we love coating celebrities in bugs, gunge and creepy crawlies and voting for people who we know will hate doing the trials.  Helen constantly found herself being voted by the public to endure the Bucktucker Trials. Tired of the pressure to bring back food for her starving campmates, Helen eventually refused to take part.

6. Rosemary’s Farts

Chef Rosemary Shrager was one the best celebrities to ever appear in the jungle. We saw her take a dip in the tub for a Dingo Dollar Challenge, enjoy a massage from the strong arms of boxer David Haye, and make a delicious meal out of absolutely anything. But the best moment in Rosemary’s archives is the time she spent her first night with singer Limahl in a small hut filled with jungle nasties. She let probably one of the loudest farts ever to happen on television but luckily for her, her roommate for the night took it very well, saying, ‘Oh, go for it, oh, that’s a good one.’

7. Stacey Trying to Get Dom’s Attention

X-Factor favourite Stacey Solomon tried to wake comedian Dom Joly from his afternoon nap by throwing a stone at him. She accomplished her task but Dom trying to figure out what just hit him makes this moment pure comedy gold!

8. Steve’s Wonder Fall

Poor Steve Davis had quite the rocky start to his Buchtucker Trial. Unlike other celebrities, the former snooker champion was very excited to win some stars (and more importantly meals) for his fellow campmates and fell head first into the lake before the timer started ticking.

9. David Van Day and Timmy Mallet’s Bromance

Singer David Van Day and TV presenter Timmy Mallet formed quite the bromance in the jungle and put together a cracker of a song, Big Baff Boff to entertain the campmates, Ant and Dec, and viewers watching at home.

10. David Gest and His Stories

Producer David Gest appeared on the show in 2006 and entertained his fellow campmates with stories like having a maid called Vaginica Seamen and how his mother was a nun illegally married to his father. Of course, these were all lies but they made for TV comedy gold.

11. Paul Burrell’s Hell Holes Trial

Former royal butler and friend to Princess Diana, Paul Burrell’s Hell Holes trial is by far one of the best reactions we (and hosts Ant and Dec) have ever seen. He whimpered and screamed as he begged rats, snakes and cockroaches not to bite him. Too funny!
