Anna Furlong Hair Salon
This renowned New Ross salon’s history spans over six decades. Established in the 1950s by the late Seamus Furlong, former President of the Irish Hairdressing Federation and recipient of the IHF Irish Icon Award, the salon is now owned and run by his niece Anna Furlong. Hailing from a well-known hairdressing family, Anna started her training in 1980 under the auspices of her uncle and some ten years later took over the running of the South Street based salon. Acutely aware of the responsibilities entailed in taking over a salon that was renowned throughout Ireland, Anna has always striven to maintain the salon philosophies and move forward and evolve with current trends both in creative hairdressing and business.
