One4all Gift Card FAQ
The One4all Gift Card is a pre-paid card; this means money must be loaded onto the card at the time of purchase. Cardholders will need to wait 24hours for the money loaded onto the gift card to become available for use in any of the One4all Retail Partners Outlets. We recommend checking the card balance online or over the phone before using the card.

- Who do I contact if there is a problem with the One4all Gift Card?

- Is there a charge on the cards?
For gift cards purchased through the One4all website (www.one4all.ie) a fee of €3.49 is applied which includes the cost of Postage & Packaging. This fee will stay the same regardless the number of gift cards purchased in one transaction
There is a fee of €2 in Post Offices on the purchase of the first One4all Gift Card . If more than one gift cards are purchased in a single transaction, a fee of €0.50 will be applied for each additional card purchased.
Gift Cards purchased through PostPoint outlets such as Apple Green and Topaz will incur a charge of €2 per gift card purchased

- Is there a minimum/maximum amount I can buy a One4all Gift Card for?
Yes the min. is €15 and max. €500. One4all Gift Cards are available in €1 denominations between these amounts.

- What happens if my card gets lost/stolen?
To report a lost or stolen One4all Gift Card, please call our Customer Service Helpline immediately on 01-8708111. You must have your card number in order for us to be able to replace it. A re-issue fee of €5.00 will apply.
GVS cannot accept any liability for deductions from your card prior to you notifying GVS with full details.

- Do I have to spend the whole amount at once?
No, if you don’t spend the full balance of your One4all Gift Card in one go, the remaining balance stays on your gift card for you to spend at a later date.
You can also use your gift card for amounts larger than in value of your card and just pay the outstanding balance using another form of payment.
- How long is a One4all Gift Card valid for?
One4all Gift Cards issued after 01 December 2011 do not have an expiry date and will remain valid for as long as there is a balance on them. The physical card itself, has a limited time span and will need to be replaced to enable you to use the remaining funds on the card after this date. This date is printed as a "Valid Thru" date on the front of the gift cards. Remember that any funds remaining on the card after this date remain available for you to spend, however you will need to apply for a replacement card to do so.
You should also note that after the 12th month following the purchase date, a charge of €1.45 will be deducted monthly from funds remaining on cards.. This charge will start to be applied from the following month and will continue until such times as the balance on the card is zero and this agreement is terminated.

For convenience we also recommend that you keep track of your balance by recording your spending on the back of the Card in the spaces provided.
- Do I have to use it all in the same shop or can I use it in different outlets?
The One4all Gift Card offers great flexibility providing you with the option to “part spend” it in a wide variety of Outlets so no, you don't have to use your One4all Gift Card in the one shop.
- Why do I need to know my Balance
Our retail partners do not have access to check your One4all Gift Card balance at their tills. If they attempt to process the gift card for more than the balance on the gift card, the transaction will be rejected. Retail partners need to know that they are not attempting to deduct more money than is on the card, if you do not know the exact balance you can ask the retailer to deduct a sum off the card that you know is below the current balance.

Non - delivery of gift cards must be notified to us within 10 working days of the order being placed. Any shortfall of cards delivered against the order must be notified to us within three working days of delivery. Should GVS not be notified of non delivery within 10 days we will not be liable should part or all funds be spent at time of notification.
Using your One4all Gift Card with our retail partners
When making a purchase you must know the balance of your One4all Gift Card to ensure that there are enough funds available to cover the purchase. If the amount of a purchase you wish to make using your One4all Gift Card is greater than what you have on your card, you can pay the difference in cash or by another payment method.
For example if you know there is €30 on your card and your purchase is €50, inform the retailer that you have €30 on the card and wish to pay the balance with cash, the retailer can then process the transaction without issue. If the retailer is not informed, the transaction will fail as they will be trying to remove the €50 from a €30 card.
The retailer will not know the balance on your One4all Gift Card and may say that the card is not working. The main cause of a card being declined is due to the customer not knowing the card balance and attempting to purchase an item for a higher value than what is on the card.
Should you use the term "split transaction" most retailers will understand that you want to use the gift card and another method of payment to pay for the items.
My One4all Gift Card wouldn't work at a retail partner
There could be several reasons why your One4all Gift Card failed at a retail partner. The balance on your card may be less than you thought, the physical card could have expired and may need to be replaced , there may have been an issue with the retailer's card processing terminal or the magnetic stripe on your card may have been damaged by a magnetic field.
Some of the most common items that contain magnets are phone covers with magnetic clasps, iPad tablet covers, clasps on wallets, retailer tag demagnetizers or even your fridge magnet.
